Can hair be taken from your armpit for a hair transplant? I have a friend willing to donate his follicular units. Can this be done or do you have to use your own hair?

Because armpit hair has a different glandular makeup, it cannot be used for hair transplantation.  Only an individual's own hair can be used for transplantation.
